Welcome to Support Services

Special Education

Our SPED program is AMAZING.

Commitment

Summit Academy is committed to working collaboratively with students, parents, community, and professionals to provide evidence-based individualized education programs to assist students with disabilities in acquiring the necessary skills to become academic, career, socially, and emotionally ready.

Carson Smith Scholarship

School districts and charter schools are required by Utah law, 53A1a-704(10), to inform parents of students with IEPs enrolled in public schools, of the availability of a scholarship to attend a private school through the Carson Smith Scholarship Program. Further information is available at: Carson Smith Scholarship

Child Find Notice

Every child is entitled to a public education regardless of disability. Children with disabilities may go without services because families are not fully aware of their options. If you know of a child enrolled at Summit Academy, ages 5 to 22, who may be in need of special education services, including your own child, please contact your local school or call the Special Education Department in Summit Academy District at 801-572-9007.
