Miss Thomas is beginning her 5th year at Summit Academy, where she teaches Culinary 1 and 2 as well as Child Development. She previously taught for seven years in Idaho after earning her bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Education from BYU-Idaho. She is passionate about helping students build practical life skills that prepare them for independence and future success, and she strives to bring creativity, care, and a sense of humor into her teaching. A Washington native, she enjoys reading, trying new recipes, spending time in nature, and being with friends and family, and she is excited to be a part of the Summit Academy community.
