Ms. Heaps is so excited to be a part of the Summit Family! After growing up in Cache Valley and graduating from Utah State University in Logan, she has lived in Colorado, Utah, and Idaho. Her greatest joy is found in her three children, ages 17, 14, and 7. Ms. Heaps has diverse teaching experience including teaching orchestra, band, being an interventionist, and a year spent working primarily with children with different challenges, such as fetal alcohol syndrome and varying neurodivergent conditions. Ms. Heaps has a passion for helping students, reading, baking, music, and fitness.
