Assistant Principal

In August 2023, Ludmila Nicolia was appointed Special Education Program Director at Endeavor Hall in West Valley, UT. However, she has been a dedicated member of the Endeavor Hall community since June 2021, when she began serving as the Assistant Principal. In this role, Ludmila has passionately supported teachers in implementing effective programs and curricula, addressing their concerns, and ensuring the smooth operation of the school. Her responsibilities have included curriculum development, professional development, teacher evaluation, mentoring, recruiting, hiring, grant writing, and special education management.

Before her tenure at Endeavor Hall, Ludmila gained valuable administrative experience as an Administrator Intern at Dual Immersion Academy in Salt Lake City. From January 2020 to February 2021, she managed Saturday school sessions, analyzed data to enhance PLC meetings, coordinated re-opening plans, and provided feedback on after-school programs. Her teaching experience includes roles as an ESL Adjunct Professor at Salt Lake Community College, where she designed and facilitated rigorous lessons for English learners, and as a 3rd Grade Teacher at Dual Immersion Academy and Ascent Academies, where she created engaging, student-centered learning experiences.

Ludmila's dedication to education is further demonstrated through her involvement in various school initiatives. She has participated in school transformation teams, safety committees, and community councils and has actively engaged in Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) initiatives. Her love for literacy and inclusive education drives her commitment to fostering an environment where every student can succeed.

As an educational leader, Ludmila Nicolia's top priority is to foster a strong, positive learning community. She firmly believes that by involving students, teachers, staff, and parents in the learning process with transparent communication, support, and opportunities for feedback, the school community can reach new heights. Her commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment where teachers and students can thrive is unwavering.

Ludmila Nicolia's academic journey is a testament to her dedication to education. She holds an M.Ed. in Administration from Grand Canyon University. Her undergraduate studies include a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Utah and an A.S. in Elementary Education from Salt Lake Community College. In addition to these degrees, she holds an Administration License, a Professional Teaching License, an Associate Educator License in Special Education, and is Mandt De-escalation Certified.

Born in Argentina, Ludmila moved to Utah, where she developed a deep connection with the local community through cultural dances. She loves hiking, discovering new places, and traveling with her family.
