On October 4th, we had our first guest speaker, Linda Jensen. She talked to us about her career in general nursing. Jensen also shared some personal stories about when she was in high school and what influenced her to go to nursing school. All who attended had an enjoyable experience.
On October 6th, we had a guest speaker in HOSA advisory Amy Bell. She was the head trainer of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). She explained how she got her job as a trainer in the NICU. We had an amazing turn out of about 50 people. Many questions were asked and everyone was engaged.
