Principal Message

Dear Summit Families,

On this Giving Tuesday, we would like to announce our Holiday Donation Program.  Each year Summit Academy High School participates in a charitable initiative.  This year, we have decided to focus on food insecurities in our community and school.  Nearly 15% of Utah households with children are currently experiencing food insecurity.  We strongly believe that no student should go hungry, especially during the school day. 

Our donation tree is set up in the front lobby of the school with ornaments lovingly hand painted by the members of our Hope Squad.  All donations will help provide funds to ensure students in need are able to purchase food without judgement or worry.  Any additional funds raised will help provide food to the households of our students in need.  

Please come in to the school, select an ornament and choose the donation amount you want to make.  You can use the link below or see the attached flyer for a QR code as well. Feel free to share the link and flyer with friends and family.  The front office can provide you with a charitable donation receipt for tax purposes.  

We hope you take this opportunity to make a positive impact on our community.  Any any all donations, big or small are greatly appreciated!

We are well into our second quarter – time seems to be flying! We have had a wonderful end to our Fall athletics and congratulate all our athletes on an amazing season. I thank them all for the hard work and dedication they gave to their sport. I also want to thank our Pep Band for all the support they gave at our football games this fall. We are looking forward to upcoming winter events.
