Dear Families,
With Fall Break just around the corner, beginning on Wednesday, October 14, I want to encourage all students and staff to take this time to truly unplug, rest, and recharge. High school can be demanding, and a true mental break is essential for sustained academic success and overall well-being.
When we return on Tuesday, October 20, we will be hitting the ground running as we head into Term 2. Please use this intermission to spend quality time with family, catch up on sleep, and step away from the daily routine.
Thank you for your ongoing partnership, support, and dedication to our school community. Have a safe, wonderful, and relaxing fall break!

A message from our Attendance Office:
Maintaining regular school attendance is essential for academic success and staying on track for graduation. To help students resolve outstanding attendance issues, we are offering an after-school Community Service Make-Up Program.
To clear unexcused absences, tardies, and sluffs:
Students can recover their attendance records using the following exchange rate:
How to Sign Up: If your student needs to make up hours, they must visit the Main Office and speak directly with Alex to register for an upcoming after-school service session.
Please take advantage of this opportunity to ensure your student's attendance record remains clear. The end of the quarter is October 13th. If you have any questions regarding your student's current attendance status, you can check on your parent ASPIRE or contact the front office.
It is College Week!! Please join us during lunch for fun activities and prizes and gift cards! ALL are welcome to participate! We also have events specifically for Seniors looking forward to applying to colleges for next year! See below!!
October 5-9th: COLLEGE WEEK
October 6: Senior Assembly 8:00 am Gym -Seniors required to attend and parents are welcome (this event changed from Monday 10/5 to Tuesday 10/6)
October 7: Colleges Visit SAHS 8 am Atrium and FAFSA Night 5-6 pm Atrium
October 13: End Quarter One -Early Release – ALL GRADES FINALIZE ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 19TH
October 14-19: Fall Break
