I earned my bachelors degree in forensic chemistry from Southern Utah University and love the space where math and science coalesce.

 I teach Biology, AP Biology, Biology Honors, and Oceanography.

 I enjoy hiking and camping, and traveling to new places.

Ms. Brown teaches 9th grade English, 12th grade English, and Shakespeare. She got her English teaching degree from BYU and is completing a master's degree in creative writing through UTEP. 

He received his degree from UVU, where he also participated in the Latin language club. Mr. Cash loves spending time with his wife and two daughters, as well as woodworking, writing short stories, and reading.

I believe in creating a classroom environment focused on learning and growth. I enjoy encouraging students to explore ideas through creative writing and watching their development in storytelling and character creation. It’s rewarding to see my students strengthen their writing skills and discover interest in stories they didn’t expect. I am passionate about reading, creative writing, and storytelling. I also believe that sometimes our best teachers are our peers, especially through class discussions and peer reviews.

Kelli Pyle has been teaching English at Summit Academy High School for four years and absolutely loves it. She has a deep passion for literature and enjoys exploring the meaning behind books, short stories, and poetry with her students.

In addition to English, she also teaches Interior Design, where she helps students express creativity and design with purpose. Outside of school, Kelli Pyle is a proud mom of three girls, and she hopes she gets to teach them as future Summit Bears.

I have been with Summit for 10 years and my passion for creating a love for theatre in young people.  I have a theatre degree from BYU and you can me act and direct in the community as a member of the Bluffdale Arts Board.

I am passionate about helping students find their own creative voice, build problem solving skills, and have fun while trying new things! In my free time, I love painting, baking, and spending time in the mountains.

I enjoy being an active member of the music community and have always been involved in arts-based nonprofit organizations.
