I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and Danville, California. I have lived in beautiful Alpine for over 20 years with my husband of 30+ years. We have 6 children, 2 sons-in-law, 1 daughter-in-law, 8 grandchildren, and an ever changing number of dogs, cats, chickens, etc. We also spend a lot of time with the neighborhood horses as my two middle daughters are head over heels for them and ride (Western and English) every chance they get. I have been teaching at Summit Academy for 8 years, first as the math specialist and now as a 3rd grade teacher!

 I'm an avid reader and am always looking for good book suggestions . . . . I also love animals and family history, and I have a reputation for making the best pies there are!
