Welcome!! I am Missie Crandall, the Special Education Teacher K-4. I provide intensive specially designed instruction of scaffold learning to ensure student growth on core standards. I have the opportunity to work with the student’s entire educational support team which includes coordinating with general education teachers, related service providers, administration,  as well as the student’s families.

 I have been working as a Special Education Teacher at Summit Elementary Independence school for the last 11 years. I received a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from BYU. I later earned my Special Education teaching license at Weber State University. I have a passion for reading and enjoy teaching children the power of reading.
