I grew up in Utah County and earned a degree in English Education from Utah Valley University. After teaching high school English for two years, I took a detour from education and worked for several years as a landscaper in the summers and a tubing hill operator in the winters in Park City. 

In 2020 I returned to teaching at the best school in Utah, and I have been here ever since! My duties have evolved over the years, and currently I teach Lego Robotics and Broadcasting in the junior high. Other roles include coordinating 504 plans for the school and substituting. Being a substitute is one of my favorite responsibilities, because it lets me get to know so many of our amazing students.
