My name is Jamie Comfort and this is my eighth-year teaching at Summit Academy. This will be my 12th year teaching and I'm beyond excited to be working at Summit Academy! I am originally from Bend, Oregon and moved to Utah from Las Vegas. I am a fan of all sports and played basketball and volleyball in college. I dual enrolled at Oregon State University and Linn Benton Community College where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. Go Beavers!

Teaching has always been my passion.  I'm constantly striving to inspire students to love all subjects, but most importantly love themselves. I also believe that there are more things to life than just academics. I truly enjoy getting to know my students and building meaningful relationships. School should ALWAYS be a fun place to be!

 This year I will be using Seesaw to share and communicate with families. If you ever want to know what is going on in our classroom please download the free Seesaw Family app and sign in. You can also access Seesaw from a computer at: http://app.seesaw.me  Once you download the app, choose your child and create your account. Once I approve you, you can see content that I upload from your child and our classroom. Your child will post to Seesaw to share their learning. I'll also use this app to send you personal messages and reminders.  Seesaw is private; you'll only see posts created by me and your child.
