Hi! I feel so lucky to be teaching 5th grade! My favorite subjects to teach are math, reading, and U.S. History. I work hard to help my students see that learning—while it’s not always easy—can be fun, exciting, and full of growth. I believe that learning and progress matter so much more than being perfect at something, and I try to bring that mindset into everything we do in the classroom.

I’m currently working on my master’s degree in curriculum and instructional design because I love learning just as much as I love teaching. I also take watercolor painting classes and hope that one day I’ll be good enough to put a painting in a show!

Outside of school, I stay busy with my husband, five kids, two in-laws, and one lively grandpuppy. We all share a love for the Utah Jazz, San Francisco 49ers, Legos, and reading. I also enjoy traveling and especially love visiting museums and learning about the history of the places I explore.
