I am convinced that everything in the universe—from massive galaxies to microscopic bacteria—is incredibly interesting, which is why I love teaching science! I grew up in Pleasant Grove, Utah, but I have also lived in Washington and Idaho. My husband and I have five grown children and five grandchildren whom I love to spend time with. At home, I like to bake or watch Jeopardy!, but weekends usually find me hiking or at the movie theater. If I am in the car, there is a good chance I am listening to a science podcast.
