My name is Christina Pehrson, though my students know me as Frau Pehrson. I teach 7th and 8th grade German in our Dual Language Immersion program and am passionate about helping students discover the many opportunities that come with learning a second language.

I earned a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and German and a Master's degree in Second Language Acquisition. My love of German began when I spent a year in Germany as a high school exchange student and grew even stronger while studying in Hamburg during college. These experiences shaped my perspective as both a language learner and a teacher. One of my favorite parts of my job is helping students connect language learning with real-world experiences, including our biannual trip to Germany.
