This is my 22nd year in education---wow, time flies! Most of my teaching experience is in kindergarten, however, I have taught in a variety of capacities on the elementary side (including PE for one year) and worked with SPED. I also made the leap from kindergarten to high school and taught 9th-12th graders for a year. I am so excited to be in kindergarten because I love working with children who are just developing a lifelong love of learning along with their contagious smiles and enthusiasm.

I have an 18-year-old son who started with Summit Academy in preschool, and he just graduated from SAHS this past May. I enjoy hiking, traveling, exercising, playing games with family/friends, movies, books, concerts, and soaking up the sunshine. Although I have always been a dog person, we rescued a cat last summer named Ozzy. He’s a tuxedo cat and truly just the sweetest addition to my small family of two (three if you count Ozzy).
