Most of my teaching experience is in kindergarten, however, I have taught in a variety of capacities on the elementary side (including PE for one year) and worked with SPED. I also made the leap from kindergarten to high school and taught 9th-12th graders for a year. I am so excited to be in kindergarten because I love working with children who are just developing a lifelong love of learning along with their contagious smiles and enthusiasm.

I have a 20-year-old son who started with Summit Academy in preschool and graduated from SAHS two years ago. Now he’s moved on to other adventures so I’m officially an empty nester.  I enjoy hiking, traveling, exercising, playing games with family/friends, movies, books, concerts, and soaking up the sunshine.
