I love being a teacher and have had the privilege of teaching for thirteen years, including my upcoming 10th year at Summit Academy High School.Teaching has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life, and I love the relationships I’ve built with students  and colleagues along the way. Outside of the classroom I enjoy traveling, running, reading, quilting and gardening. I am the proud mom of two wonderful children and the grandma of six grandsons with another one on the way. My family teaching and adventures around the world are some of the things I enjoy most.
