I am grateful to be a part of the Summit Academy team. As the school librarian, I am excited to cultivate a love for reading, which will support and strengthen students in their education and life. To quote Leonardo da Vinci “Learning never exhausts the mind.” I consider myself an avid learner and hope to encourage students to never stop being curious and to always seek out knowledge and understanding.

On a personal note, I am married. My husband and I are both musicians. I play the violin and James composes music and plays the cello. I graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in elementary education. I have had the privilege of being an elementary orchestra teacher, substitute teacher, special education paraprofessional and teacher’s aide.

I love working at Summit Academy. The people are wonderful! I enjoy working with children and consider it one of the greatest highlights of my life.
