I was born in Colorado and have lived in New York, Oregon, Utah, Germany and Nevada. I graduated with a B.S. in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University.  My family includes my son, daughter, son-in-law, and grandson. We enjoy being outside, playing games, and working on projects together. 

Reading, hiking, swimming, and biking are some activities that I enjoy. I like to sew, work in the yard, connect with family and friends, and enjoy new experiences.

This is my 12th year teaching kindergarten. I have also worked as a reading specialist, instructional coach, and academic leader. Education is an impactful tool in changing the lives of children and families. It is wonderful to see how children grow and develop as learning transforms their lives. I am grateful to be a member of the Summit Bluffdale community.
