I am so glad to be here at Summit Academy! I have been here since the Bluffdale campus opened in 2016. I have taught First Grade my whole time here and I love it! I am passionate about teaching children and want them to love learning. I have worked in Early Childhood Education for 28 years. I first started working with younger children in the private sector and even had my own preschool for nine years. I earned my bachelor degree in Human Development Family Studies from the University of Utah. I later earned my masters degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Phoenix. In my spare time I enjoy gardening, crocheting, working on family history, and most importantly spending time with my new grandbaby.
