This is my 4th year at Summit Academy. I started as a special education para and enjoyed it so much I returned to school to earn my teaching license. My passion within special education is teaching reading. It is extremely rewarding to watch my students grow and become successful readers. I am a huge reader myself and spend my spare time reading and rating books for publishers. If I am not reading, I am usually outdoors with my family, or watching my sons play baseball.
