I graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, then taught in California for 7 years. I met and married my husband there. After having our daughter, we moved from California to Utah to be closer to family. That was 12 years ago now! Since I’ve been here, I’ve continued to teach Jr. high (6th-8th grades) at the Summit Academy Independence campus, and now for Summit Bluffdale, making this my 10th year. One of my favorite parts of working for Summit for so many years is getting multiple students from the same families. It is such a special experience getting to watch previous students grow up!
