I graduated from BYU in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and a minor in teaching English language learners. I have been teaching for the last 7 years, and 6 of those have been with Summit Academy. I started in 4th grade, then taught 3rd for five years, and now this is my 2nd year teaching 2nd grade! I absolutely love teaching, especially here at Summit, where it feels like we are a family! I even have a Summit love story! I met my husband while we were both teachers at the Independence campus, and now we are married and have an adorable puppy named Hershey. His mischievous antics always provide me with plenty of funny stories to tell my students. If you need to find me, just look for the classroom filled with dragons!
