Light bulb moments are my absolute favorite. I love the look in my students eyes as I unlock the magic of learning. Kindergarten has my heart and I have taught it for 10 years. I also taught preschool for 5 and was a behavior tech here at summit for 2 years. I love encouraging students to do their best and become lifelong learners. They know that it's ok to make mistakes because that is how we learn. I love children's literacy and I am happy to help any parent with questions about what books they should be reading to their child or what books their child should read. When I am not teaching I enjoy traveling with my family, hiking or listening to audiobooks while I garden.
