3rd Grade Teacher

I believe every child deserves to feel valued, supported, and inspired to become a lifelong learner. I hold a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Western Governors University and have an undergraduate background in History and English from Washington State University.

One of my greatest passions as an educator is bringing multicultural learning into the classroom and helping students build bridges between their own experiences and the world around them. I believe that developing cultural literacy helps students appreciate different perspectives, celebrate diversity, and become compassionate, curious global citizens. Teaching in a dual language immersion school is especially meaningful to me because I believe language has the power to connect people, deepen understanding, and open doors to new perspectives.

Outside the classroom, I'm the proud mother of four daughters! I love traveling, distance running, hiking, eating yummy food, puzzling with my husband, learning about different cultures, watching international shows, and spending tons of time with my family and friends. My hope is that every student who walks into my classroom feels known, encouraged, and inspired to discover both the joy of learning and the beauty of our diverse world.
