My name is Scott Pettit. I serve as the Director of Operations and Transportation for all Summit Academy schools. I’ve been with Summit Academy since 2011 and love it here. I've spent the majority of my time working at our high school campus as a teacher, debate coach, and administrator. I am committed to ensuring that all students and staff at Summit Academy have a safe and positive learning experience.

I hold a B.S. in Emergency Administration and Planning from the University of North Texas. I also have a MAT from Westminster College and a MEdL from Western Governors University. Before entering the field of education, I had a professional career in corporate safety and security within the logistics industry.

I love spending time with my amazing wife and son. Together we enjoy traveling around the world and visiting as many new places as we can. I also love learning about the history of places, especially the Salt Lake area.
