Although this is my first year officially working at Summit Academy, we have been part of the Summit Family since the 2019-2020 school year when my daughter started attending as 2nd grader. Prior to working at our school, I worked as a hairdresser and have been a fully licensed cosmetologist as well as a fully licensed Cosmetology and Barbering instructor for almost 9 years, with more than 2500 hours of education, including art, color theory, chemistry, and biology as well as almost 500 hours of continuing education under my belt.
My husband and I are avid supporters of our teachers and administrators and we’ve spent many hours volunteering both in and out of the classroom over the last 4 years but I have always wanted to do more.
I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to help support our amazing 5th and 6th grade teachers this year in an official capacity and truly enjoy spending time with the students.
