We are excited to announce several changes in our organization at Summit Academy for the 2018-2019 school year. Mr. Tyler Whittle, current principal of our Draper campus and K-8 executive director, will now become K-12 executive director and will no longer serve as principal of the Draper campus.
As K-12 director, Mr. Whittle will be able to help unify the vision for all of our Summit Academy campuses, including Summit Academy High School. This will allow Ms. Natalie Call, who currently serves as both principal of Summit Academy High School and 9-12 executive director, to focus exclusively on working with our students and educators as high school principal.
Mr. Gary Tucker, who is currently serving as assistant principal of the Draper campus, will now be appointed as principal. Mr. Tucker has over seven years of education experience and previously taught chemistry and biology at Summit Academy High School before joining the Draper campus in 2017.
