Summit Academy-Draper Campus
Server - 9:00 am to 1:30 pm, Monday to Friday
  • Set up serving line, serve lunch, communicate with students, clean up serving line.
  • Ability to read, write and do math; Ability to follow directions; Ability to communicate and work well with children; Ability to work well with others; Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to stand, walk, for 2-4 hours, stoop and kneel
 
Current Food Handlers Permit required
 
Salad Bar Prep - 8:00 am to 1:30 pm, Monday to Friday
  • Wash, prepare, cut food for salad bar for 300-500 students
  • Operate food service equipment, clean and maintain equipment and facility
  • Follow recipes
  • Fill out production reports
  • Place weekly food orders
  • Receive and put away food and supply deliveries
  • Follow health code safety procedures
  • Ability to read, write and do math; Ability to multitask and work quickly; Ability to communicate well with others; Ability to follow directions and work well under pressure; Ability to identify and solve problems in a timely manner; Ability to work well with children
  • Must be able to stand and walk for a 5-1/2 hour shift; must be able to stoop and kneel; lift up to 40 lbs
 
Current Food Handlers Permit required
 
Cook - 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday to Friday.  Full-time with benefits
  • Prepare, heat, cook food for 300-500 students
  • Operate food service equipment, clean and maintain equipment and facility
  • Follow recipes
  • Fill out production reports
  • Place weekly food orders
  • Receive and put away food and supply deliveries
  • Follow health code safety procedures
  • Manage staff
  • Ability to read, write and do math; Ability to cook; Ability to cut and prepare food; Ability to follow a recipe; Ability to multitask and work quickly; Ability to communicate well with others; Ability to manage others; Ability to follow directions and work well under pressure; Ability to identify and solve problems in a timely manner
  • Must be able to stand and walk for a long period of time; must be able to stoop and kneel and lift up to 50 lbs
 
Current Food Handlers Permit or Serve Safe Certificate required
 
 
Summit Academy-Bluffdale Campus
Cashier - 2 Openings - 9:30 am to 1:00 pm; 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday to Friday
  • Set up cafeteria for lunch, sign in student lunches, wipe off tables, empty garbage, close out register, clean cafeteria and put away tables.
  • Ability to read, write and count money; Ability to use a computer; Ability to follow directions; Ability to multi-task and work quickly; Ability to communicate and work well with children.
  • Must be able to set up cafeteria tables and chairs and put them away. 
 
No experience required
 
 
Summit Academy High School

  • Set up cafeteria for lunch, sign in student lunches, wipe off tables, empty garbage, close out register, clean cafeteria and put away tables.
  • Ability to read, write and count money; Ability to use a computer; Ability to follow directions; Ability to multi-task and work quickly; Ability to communicate and work well with children.
  • Must be able to set up cafeteria tables and chairs and put them away.

Teaching Applicants must meet USOE and NCLB requirements, having earned as a minimum a Bachelor’s degree in elementary or secondary education from an accredited college or university with appropriate endorsements in the content area.  Applicants accepted in the ARL program will also be considered.
