Chelsea Welch - Board President
Chelsea Welch is a researcher with experience in laboratory, clinical, and regulatory settings. Her work has focused on Oncology, Pediatrics, and Neurodegenerative Diseases. She is the mother of three children, who are currently attending Summit Academy. She has been involved with the school for many years and strongly believes in the mission of Summit Academy. Ms Welch has been on the Board of Trustees since 2018.
Ramona Baik - Board Vice-President
Ramona Baik graduated from Brigham Young University with a BA in International Politics. She is a mother of four children, two who are currently attending Summit Academy. Education has always been a high priority in her family's life. She believes in the mission and goals of Summit Academy. Mrs Baik has been on the Board of Trustees since 2018.
Chris Lynn - Board Treasurer
Chris Lynn has a masters degree in engineering from Brigham Young University and is currently a capacity planner and performance analyst for Sling TV. He has three children, one who currently attends Summit Academy High School. He believes that a great education is the best path to improve the lives of students and their community. Mr Lynn has served on the Board of Trustees since 2019.
Holly Sonntag - Board Member
Holly Sonntag is a licensed educator, teaching part-time in Utah County. She is the mother of seven children and grandmother of ten grandchildren. She had four children attend Summit Academy. She is passionate about the incredible opportunity that Summit provides for families. Mrs Sonntag has been on the Board of Trustees since 2009.
Oliver Ries - Board Member
Oliver Ries is originally from Germany and works to help international companies thrive. He is a father of three children, two who are currently attending Summit Academy. He is passionate about communities and providing good education to younger generations to set them on a path to success for their future. Mr Ries has been on the Board of Trustees since 2019.
